Welcome to the World-of-Pixels Advertising...

If you want to advertise your business by buying a few pixels, we have a million pixels for sale on our home page - less those that are already sold of course!

The World-of-Pixels home page is divided into little squares or blocks, each measuring 10 pixles wide by 10 pixels high, thus each box contains 100 pixels. There are 100 blocks across the page and 100 blocks down the page. This gives a total of 10,000 blocks ... which is a whopping one million pixels!

You can buy as many blocks as you want, but your minimum purchase must be 1 block of 100 pixels. At $1 per pixel, the price of each block is $100.

With our current 2006 promotion, you can buy a block for only $60…
…a saving of 40%…
…which is the equivalent of only 60¢ per pixel.

You can also buy blocks in any shape you want, providing the blocks you require do not overlap any other blocks which have already been sold. So please make sure that there is sufficient space for your requirements. The order form enables you to request blocks either as singles or in a rectangular block, for example, 10 blocks across x 2 blocks high. If you require a more unorthodox space, order the total blocks you require and enter the starting point, then send an email detailing your specific requirements.

Once you have placed your order, you can send your pixel-image using the send-image form. Please ensure your pixel-image is in JPG or GIF format and it matches the total block size you have ordered. For example, a 10 x 1 block = 100 pixels wide x 10 pixels high. A 5 x 3 block = 50 pixels wide x 30 pixels high.

How Does It Work?

You buy a specific number of blocks (or a single block) to advertise your website.
Each block measures 10 pixels x 10 pixels, making 100 pixels per block.
You send us an image which is the exact size you have ordered.
For example:

1 block - send an image 10 pixels wide x 10 pixels high
5 blocks wide x 1 block high - send an image 500 pixels wide x 100 pixels high
5 blocks wide x 2 blocks high - send an image 500 pixels wide x 200 pixels high

You also provide a Slogan for display when the mouse passes over your image.

Your slogan will also be visible to the Search Engines - so make it good!

Your image contains a direct link to your website or web page as well as your mouse-over slogan.
Your pixel-ad will last for the lifetime of the site, which is expected to be at least 5 years, probably longer.
You also get a FREE entry in the Business Directory and will be listed by category & alphabetically by business name.

You are also encouraged to provide a 400-character Business Profile or Sales-Marketing message for inclusion in the Business Directory to help promote your business even more.

Remember, you can only order blocks that are empty and you cannot overlap any blocks that are already sold.
Blocks are allocated on a first come, first served basis, based on the time we receive notification that your payment has been authorised and cleared by the appropriate authority.
In the event that the block(s) you require get allocated to another buyer, you will be allocated blocks as close as possible to your original request.

Easy if you have Javascript enabled in your Browser. The Block Co-ordinates will be displayed automatically in the Status Bar (lower left of screen) when you place the mouse pointer in an empty block.

In the following example, the 1000x200 pixel image is positioned at Block-8 Across & Block-5 Down.
Ad Size is 20 blocks (10 blocks wide x 2 blocks high), which is a total of 2000 pixels.
