Pixel Ads from advertisers are now dynamically fed from the online advertisers database, ensuring the data is always up-to-date, fresh, and in unison with the directory itself.

This enables changes to data be made if it ever proves  necessary, like refreshing or changing the "mouse over" status message that appears prior to an Ad being clicked.

It will also be possible to change the website address (URL) if there is a requirement to do so, subject of course to complying with the World of Pixels terms and conditions in relation to linking websites.

Calculating your Pixel Ad's starting position is a no-brainer on the World of Pixels.

Simply put your mouse pointer in the center of the block where you want your Pixel Ad to start, then look at the Status Bar at the lower left of the screen.

As long as you have Javascript enabled on your PC, the ACROSS and DOWN starting co-ordinates of your starting point will be listed. 

Simply take a note of the co-ordinates and enter them in the Buy Pixels Order Form when asked.

Instructions are also available on the Order Form if you have disabled Javascripts.

From mid-November until Christmas Day, the price per pixel has been reduced by a massive 40%.

All advertisers placing an Ad by 25th December 2005 will only pay 60c per pixel instead of the normal $1 per pixel.

This is a massive 40% reduction on the normal price.  A single block now only costs $60 instead of $100.

World-of-Pixels.com are pleased to announce the launch of their new website enabling customers to buy pixels to advertise and promote their own website.

Following in the foosteps of the Million Dollar Homepage who pioneered the pixel-buying concept a few months ago, customers are invited to buy blocks of pixels on the World-of-Pixels homepage, enabling them to post an image-ad in the space purchased.  The image-ad will have a link to the customer's own home page, along with their own sales slogan which will be visible when the mouse passes over their image. 

The World-of-Pixels homepage is divided into a grid 1000 pixels wide by 1000 pixels high, providing a total of 1 million pixels.  The grid is sub-divided into small squares or blocks measuring 10x10 pixels each. Customers can buy as many blocks as they want, but must buy a minimum of 1 block, which is equivalent to 100 pixels in total.

In addition to the pixel-ad, every customer will get a FREE entry in the World-of-Pixels Business Directory to further promote their online business.  As well as providing basic contact and address details, customers have the option to add their own business summary or sales/marketing message, as well as a company logo.  Click here to view current entries.
